Each month, the top Firstlook reviewer will recieve an iSONEWS VIP T-Shirt. The design of the shirt will change roughly every few months, when new shirts are printed. Reviews are given a score based on two categories:
Time
- +5 points: reviewed 0-3 days after release
- +3 points: reviewed 4-10 days after release
- +1 points: reviewed 10+ days after release
Competition
- +3 points: 1st review of game
- +2 points: 2nd review of game
- +1 points: 3rd review of game
- +0 points: 4th+ review of game
Reviews will be processed on a first-in, first-out basis. Even if there are no published reviews for a particular title, bear in mind there may be submitted reviews for that title waiting to be processed in the editor queue. Firstlook editors will do everything in their power to be as fair as possible. Although scoring is largely time-based, you retain greater chances for scoring well if you write excellent reviews; our editorial standards will be raised starting this month, in order to cut down on users submitting hollow reviews just for the contest. The contest is designed to reward those who write, and write well--please view it that way.
